DORCHESTER COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – Law enforcement arrested a suspect wanted for several felony warrants in Dorchester County over the weekend.
The Dorchester County Sheriff's Office responded to a location off of Highway 17-A Saturday to capture Thomas K. Bunch, the agency said.
When deputies approached, Bunch fled into the woods and ignored commands issued by authorities.
Deputies pursued and released a K9 to track Bunch. Soon after, Bunch was heard screaming when the K9 found him. He was subsequently treated for injuries sustained in the capture before being taken to the Dorchester County Detention Center.
Bunch is held at the detention center for burglary in the first degree, failure to appear for trafficking methamphetamine, and failure to appear for larceny.
