(KRON) -- Atherton police are investigating after a residence was burglarized Saturday night, according to authorities. Shortly after the burglary, a second home had a window smashed before the resident chased away a burglary suspect, the Atherton Police Department said. The burglary occurred on the 300 block of Stevick Drive at around 7 p.m. The police investigation revealed that the suspects smashed a rear window of the residence before entering the home. Authorities did not say what was stolen in the incident. (KRON4) Following shortly after the burglary, another home on the 300 block of Stevick Drive had a window broken by one of the suspects, Atherton police said. A resident inside the house was able to chase out the suspect. The suspects fled the area in a vehicle, according to police, and have not been located.
