(KSNW) -- A 44-year-old man from Jewell died in a crash on Kansas Highway 14 Monday morning. It happened just before 7 a.m., about four and a half miles north of Beloit. The Kansas Highway Patrol says a Toyota Tundra was headed north on K-14 when it crossed the center line and hit an oncoming Ford Escape. Property tax relief focus of Kansas legislature this session The driver of the Ford, 44-year-old Travis G. Cady, died in the crash. The driver of the Toyota, a 39-year-old man from Burr Oak, was taken to Mitchell County Hospital with serious injuries.
