"We really miss him, he's really special to us" said Liz Blaser of West Springfield.
Remi was last seen in the Cooks Park playground area.
"He went missing from our backyard in West Springfield and he was on his leash," Blaser said. "He was playing in the backyard on his leash, and that's when he got spooked and took off."
The Blaser family said they gathered enough donations from the community to hire Hawkeye Aerial Systems, who used their drones to try and find Remi. They're also working with Missing Mutts Search & Rescue, along with Missing Dogs of Massachusetts.
Remi's family said that if someone may have taken him in thinking he was a stray to please return him, and that no questions will be asked. West Springfield Police are also speaking out.
"Check your property, look under the deck, look behind the shed, look in the bushes. Remi could be trapped or stuck with the leash," said Sergeant Joe LaFrance of the West Springfield Police Department.
If you find Remi or have any information about where he might be, please call the West Springfield Police Department at (413) 263-3210. You can also contact Remi's owner Liz Blaser at (413) 364-0223.
