NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The third suspect in a New Orleans East deadly shooting that happened New Year's Eve has been arrested, according to the New Orleans Police Department. On Monday, Jan. 13, officers said 25-year-old Anjanau “Henny” Davis was arrested on a charge of second-degree murder. New Orleans man wanted after allegedly killing friend in Chalmette Davis was one of three suspects named in the death of Thanh Vu, a mother and owner of the Viet My supermarket. Carpenter, and 27-year-old Adrian Harris allegedly committed an armed robbery at the supermarket in the 4600 block of Alcee Fortier Boulevard. Vu was shot during the robbery but died three days later, according to officers. Detectives were able to identify all suspects in the case. Through an investigation, they found that Carpenter and Harris were already booked into the Orleans Parish Justice Center on unrelated charges.
