FOREST COUNTY, Wis. (WFRV) - Authorities in Wisconsin say one man was arrested recently for drug-related charges and child enticement following an undercover operation on social media. According to a release from the Forest County Sheriff's Office, the Central Minnesota Human Trafficking Task Force told deputies on Friday, December 27, that they had been working on an undercover conversation through a social media app posing as a child and were speaking with a man believed to be from Forest County. Firearm incident in Wisconsin, suspect uncooperative but eventually arrested The Forest County Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force then began an investigation of its own into determining a suspect and their location. Officials say they identified 39-year-old Bradley R. Elliott of Hiles as a suspect and learned that he was already a registered sex offender. On January 10, detectives with the Forest County Sheriff's Office and the Oneida County Sheriff's Office arrested Elliott at a business in Oneida County. On the same day, Forest County detectives executed a search warrant at a home in the Town of Hiles and reportedly seized several electronic devices, a large amount of THC products, and other drug paraphernalia. Deputies say Elliott was arrested on the following charges: Felony child enticement Felony exposing a child to harmful narrations Violation of the sex offender registry Possession of THC Possession of drug paraphernalia Felony possession of THC with intent to deliver Officials say the charges mentioned were referred to the Forest County District Attorney's Office and additional charges could follow after the pending forensic evaluation of the recovered electronic devices. Sheriff’s Office: Oconto County man dead after being ejected from a UTV Elliott was given a $20,000 cash bond and is to not have internet access. He has since posted the bond and was released from custody. No other information is available at this time.
