Afternoon temperatures in the upper teens today rivaled our lowest high temp of 19° back on Jan 4. (Today's high temp occurred at 3:00 AM and it was higher - in the mid-20s). We have more cold days coming over the next couple of days and the potential for significantly colder air coming early next week. By early Tuesday, it will feel like it's below zero, when you factor in the winds. While temperatures this evening started in the teens, they won't be falling too far. Lows will be near 10° during the early morning. Wind chill values will be as low as around -5°.During the day tomorrow, our next weather system moves in, and it brings us another dose of snow accumulating during the daytime. Snow amounts up to an inch are possible by late afternoon. You can expect more snowflakes in the air on Tuesday. With the snow showers, our sky will, also, be mostly cloudy. Highs will be around 20°. Our highest wind chill values, though, will only be in the single digits. Wednesday's forecast features sunshine and highs in the upper teens. Wind chills will be below zero in the morning, rising into the low single digits during the day. Warmer air moves in at the end of the week with highs in the 30s from Thursday through Saturday. Over the weekend, both rain and snow showers will be possible on Saturday with a few snowflakes on Sunday. Next week starts off very cold with highs Monday and Tuesday between 10° and 15°. Early Tuesday morning, the actual temperature is forecasted to drop to slightly below 0°. Conditions early next week have the potential to be even colder than what we're experiencing early this week.
