RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Columbia-Richland Fire Department said firefighters extinguished flames at a home on Friday afternoon.
On Friday, Jan. 10, 3rd shift crews responded to a fire at a home on S. Roy Road, near Gadsden shortly before 5:30 p.m.
The fire was brought under control and put out after firefighters were able to get a water supply established.
After investigating the fire department determined a breach in the chimney caused the fire to escape and spread.
No one was injured, but one person was left displaced.
