CSPD holding its sixth Valentine's Day contest

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) announced it will hold its annual Valentine's Day contest, with two snuggly teddy bears as the grand prize.
CSPD is looking for the most creative homemade Valentine's Day Card, and CSPD's Chief Adrian Vasquez will choose the top three and those three will be posted on CSPD's social media where the community will vote on their favorite. The top card will take home two teddy bears.

The contest is open to any child three to 10 years old in the Colorado Springs community. Cards need to be addressed to the Community Relations Unit and dropped off or mailed to the Police Operations Center located at 705 South Nevada Avenue, Colorado Springs, CO, 80903. CSPD reminds those entering to include the child's name and age, along with a parent or guardian's name and phone number.
The contest runs from Monday, Jan. 13, to Feb. 7. The top three cards will be posted to social media by Feb. 10.
