CHARLESTON COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) - Two Charleston County school buses were involved in separate crashes Monday morning. A school bus collided with a North Charleston Police Department vehicle early Monday morning at the intersection of Rivers and Midland Park Road, according to the Charleston County Sheriff's Office. Officials said the school bus hit the police vehicle during a traffic stop. According to Jason Collins with the Charleston County Sheriff's Office, it was a minor accident and no injuries were reported. Then a second school bus for Jerry Zucker Middle School was involved in a collision on Ladson Road. Officials from the Charleston County School District reported that two students from Jerry Zucker Middle School were on board. The Charleston County Sheriff's Office is investigating.
