Man charged with homicide on Standing Rock reservation

BISMARCK, ND (KXNET) — A man is now awaiting trial for the death of another man that happened on a reservation.
Over the weekend, U.S. Marshalls arrested Deagen Running Bear.
He's facing four counts, including second-degree murder and three counts of assault.
North Dakota joins $17 M settlement with Edward Jones
According to documents filed in federal court, Running Bear is accused of attacking and killing Elijah Red Tomahawk in May of 2023.
Investigators say it happened in Sioux County.
Running Bear is also accused of trying to hide Red Tomahawk's body.
Running Bear is set to face trial in federal court in Bismarck in June.
