PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) -- The Prince George's County Police Department (PGPD) has identified the man who died after the car they were driving crashed in Clinton Friday night. Police said that at about 8:10 p.m., officers responded to the 9800 block of Surratts Road for a single-vehicle crash. The driver of the vehicle, Ezequiel Maza Espadas, 33, of Clinton, died at the scene. MPD: Three officers injured in Northeast DC shooting; suspect dead The passenger, a man, was not injured. PGPD said Maza Espadas was driving south on Surratts Road when, for unknown reasons, he lost control of the vehicle and hit a utility pole. Police encourage anyone with information to call 301-731-4422. The investigation is ongoing.
