UNM Women drop first conference game with 8873 loss to UNLV

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – It was a battle ion Sunday at the Pit, as the UNM Women's Basketball team hosted defending Mountain West Champion UNLV. Tied at the end of the 3rd quarter, UNM would take a 69-64 lead with 6:30 to play, but UNLV closed out the game strong with solid outside shooting.

UNM drops their first conference game 88-73, now 4-1 in MW play the Lobos overall record now stands at 11-7. The Lobos will look to bounce back on the road on Saturday, as they play Colorado State at 1pm.
