RACINE, Wis. (WFRV) - Authorities in Wisconsin say one man was arrested Sunday afternoon following a firearm incident Sunday morning. According to a release from the Racine Police Department, officers responded at 6:49 a.m. to the 1800 block of Geneva Street for reports of an incident involving a firearm. Officials say they were able to contact the man and start a dialogue; however, the suspect was said to be uncooperative throughout the majority of the incident. Wisconsin law enforcement agencies team for dozens of arrests during ‘Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over’ The Racine Police Department SWAT Team and the Crisis Negotiation Team were called to the scene, and the suspect was eventually taken into custody at 12:21 p.m. Police report that no one suffered any serious injuries as a result of the incident and they state that there is no threat to the community. No other information is available at this time and an investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
