Three officers injured in Northeast DC shooting, police say

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) -- The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said three officers were injured in a shooting in Northeast D.C. on Monday morning.
Police posted on X at about 5:40 a.m., that they responded to a shooting in the 300 block of Florida Avenue.
Crews battle fire at Barnaby Manor Elementary School in Oxon Hill
The three officers were taken to the hospital conscious and breathing.
MPD said a suspect was shot and pronounced dead at the scene.
