JOHNSTON, R.I. (WPRI) -- Police are investigating after a man reported that he was body-slammed in Johnston on Saturday. Chief Mark Vieira said the man, 28, told police this happened around 9 a.m. at the intersection of Lyman Avenue and Springfield Avenue while he was jogging to a nearby bike path. According to Vieira, the victim didn't have any injuries. There isn't a suspect in custody at this time.
