Crime of Week: Man tries to rob Northeast El Paso pizza store with knife

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Crime Stoppers of El Paso and the El Paso Police Department are asking for your help in identifying a man who attempted to rob a pizza store with a knife last Sunday, Jan. 4 in Northeast El Paso.
This is this week’s featured “Crime of the Week,” as publicized by Crime Stoppers.
At roughly 10 p.m. on Jan. 4, a suspect entered a Domino's Pizza, located at 10040 Dyer St.
The suspect approached an employee at the counter, took out a pocketknife and demanded money, according to Crime Stoppers.

The employee was "in fear," went to the back with the other employees and the suspect then fled from the store with no money, Crime Stoppers said.
According to Crime Stoppers, the suspect is described as an Hispanic male, 20 to 30 years old, 5 foot, 9 inches tall and has light facial hair.
He was seen wearing a tan baseball cap, a black-hooded jacket with a zipper, a red T-shirt, black pants and black athletic shoes with white soles, Crime Stopper said.
Crime Stoppers also said the suspect spoke in Spanish.
