BISMARCK, ND (KXNET) — This week, North Dakota Tax Commissioner Brian Kroshus appointed a new deputy for the North Dakota Office of State Tax Commissioner.
Her name is Stacey Lang. Kroshus says that Lang previously served as the development director for the Bismarck Public Schools Foundation.
Both Kroshus and Lang will now make up part of the responsibility in upholding state tax law and regulating responsibility for alcohol and tobacco.
The Tax Commissioner says the agency administers 35 tax types and is responsible for 90% of general fund revenues.
