ALTADENA, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - Visalia firefighters working tirelessly on the Eaton Fire were surprised by a visit from a Southern California celebrity Sunday morning, the Visalia Fire Department announced.
The crew had completed a 24-hour-long shift in Altadena when famed rapper Jayceon Terrell Taylor, otherwise known as The Game, met with them to personally thank them for their efforts with the devastating Southern California wildfires.
The department said the recognition and visit was a meaningful gesture, and The Game even took a moment to take a picture with the group.
The crew deployed late Wednesday night and arrived in Pasadena around 1:00 a.m. Thursday to join other working crews.
