MULVANE, Kan. (KSNW) - Three people were sent to the hospital after two vehicles crashed near Mulvane. It happened around 2:30 p.m. near the intersection of East 119th Street South / Kansas Highway 53 and South Hillside Street. According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a flatbed pickup truck was driving south on Hillside while a sedan was driving westbound on K-53. The truck failed to stop at the stop sign and sideswiped the sedan. There were four occupants in total. Three were in the sedan, and one was in the truck. The occupants of the sedan were all transported to a local hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the truck refused transport.
