Another Cold Week
Jan 12, 2025
A weak clipper system is coming through New England as we start the workweek. Clouds build in tonight and temperatures will hold in the 20s, but with a calm wind, wind chill won’t be a factor come Monday morning. As the clipper comes through Monday, we will have clouds and most will remain dry. There is a slight chance of picking up a snow shower Monday night. Monday will be milder than average in the lower-40s. Behind the clipper, we bring in much colder air that will drop us back into the icebox for the midweek. Skies will be clear or mainly sunny for the remainder of the workweek but temperatures will bottom out in the teens overnight and with any breezes, it will feel much colder in the mornings. As for high temperatures, look for them to peak near 30Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Friday will be sunny with seasonable highs in the upper-30s. Our next chance of precipitation looks to be Saturday with rain and highs in the mid-40s.
