INDIANAPOLIS — A person was critically injured in a shooting on the west side of Indianapolis Sunday afternoon. According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers were called to the 500 block of Mariwood Drive — which is located just off North Raceway Road — around 3:20 p.m. on a report of a person shot. When police arrived at the scene, they located a victim who appeared to have been grazed by gunfire. IMPD reported that the victim was in critical condition, even though they sustained injuries characterized as graze wounds.
