DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) -- Police say that a Durham man reported missing about two months ago has been found dead. Rafael Santana, 61, was reported missing in mid-November 2024, according to a Durham Police Department news release on November 19, 2024. Santana was last heard from on Nov. 14 during a telephone call around 3 p.m., Durham police said. When he vanished, Santana was possibly driving a gray 2019 Dodge Journey with a North Carolina license plate of HKT-7247, police said. Man shot, killed inside home on Colony Drive identified, High Point police say On Nov. 22, the Durham County Sheriff's Office said that a man's body was found while police were searching for a missing Durham man. Durham County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division officers responded to northern Durham County to help Durham police in that search, a sheriff's office news release said. A dead man, believed to be the missing person, was found along the 300 block of Mason Road, just west of North Roxboro Road/U.S. 501, deputies said.
