Man shot, killed inside home on Colony Drive identified, High Point police say

HIGH POINT, N.C. (WGHP) — High Point police have released the identity of a man killed in a shooting on Colony Drive Saturday.
Police identified Brandon C. Harris Jr., 20, of High Point, as the shooting victim.
At around 12:19 a.m. on Saturday, officers responded to a report of an assault with a deadly weapon in the 3300 block of Colony Drive.
Investigators said that multiple shots were fired inside a home on Colony Drive that had four people inside it. Harris died at the scene.
Two others injured in the shooting remain in the hospital in "stable" condition.
Detectives with the High Point Police Department's Violent Crime Unit continue to investigate.
