CHARLOTTE, N.C. – One person died and multiple others were injured following a car crash in east Charlotte on Saturday night.
It happened around 9:30 p.m. on East W.T. Harris Boulevard near Delta Landing Road.
Medic said one person was transported to Novant Presbyterian with life-threatening injuries. Four others were also seriously injured and transported to the hospital. Another suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Atrium CMC.
Around 11 p.m., CMPD said it was conducting a fatal crash investigation.
That portion of East W.T. Harris Boulevard was temporarily closed while detectives investigated the crash.
