Westminster police say they are trying to identify three male suspects involved in a string of break-ins and a shooting Saturday morning. Officers were contacted by a resident who said they caught someone breaking into their vehicle near Winona Court and 72nd Avenue, according to a news release. Another caller reported chasing off a person who tried to break into their business near 70th Avenue and Raleigh Street a short while later. The suspects sped off in a gold Kia Sedona minivan and shot at the driver of a vehicle at 76th Avenue and Sheridan Boulevard. The driver was unharmed, although the bullet pierced the windshield.
