PORT WENTWORTH, Ga. (WSAV) - The Port Wentworth Police Department (PWPD) is investigating a shooting that happened at Rice Creek Apartments Saturday night. According to PWPD, officers arrived on scene to find one person suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.  The preliminary investigation suggests that the victim may know the suspect involved. However, police say the victim has been uncooperative with law enforcement regarding details of the incident.  The investigation remains ongoing, and anyone with information related to this incident is urged to contact PWPD.
