Oshkosh Police Department and community rally to raise awareness in fight against human trafficking

OSHKOSH, Wis. (WFRV) - A day after officials from the department rescued a human trafficking victim, the Oshkosh Police Department and community held a rally on Saturday.
The Oshkosh Police Department posted on Facebook that the 15th Annual Human Trafficking Awareness Day Rally was held at the Opera House Square as officials and locals gathered to raise awareness in the fight to end human trafficking.

The post also expressed gratitude to the community for its "overwhelming support of [Friday's] arrest."
The Oshkosh Police Department said its community partnership with the Damascus Road Project has never been stronger, as the two continue working with other human trafficking awareness groups to combat the issue.
