STARK COUNTY, ND (KXNET) — The Stark County Sheriff's Office is once again warning the public of scams, where callers are impersonating a Stark County deputy to solicit money. Authorities say they received a few reports of a man with a southern accent impersonating a Stark County deputy. The man asks for money through a GoFundMe page and threatens people with an arrest warrant if people don't donate to the page. The Stark County Sheriff's Office is reminding people that they will never solicit money through social media or arrest someone for not giving them money.
