APD SWAT assists Lockhart in officer involved shooting Saturday

LOCKHART, Texas (KXAN) -- The Austin Police Department's SWAT assisted the Lockhart Police Department with a barricaded subject that turned into an officer-involved shooting in the 900 block of 1st Street on Saturday.
The initial call for the barricaded subject began at 5:44 p.m., according to APD. The shooting later occurred just before 8:00 p.m. The situation would resolve at around 8:30 p.m.
LPD said that there was no threat to the public. No officers were injured in the shooting, according to authorities.

APD said the suspect was flown to Ascension Seton Hays in Kyle, however, the details of their injuries are unknown.
