LOCKHART, Texas (KXAN) -- The Austin Police Department's SWAT assisted the Lockhart Police Department with a barricaded subject that turned into an officer-involved shooting in the 900 block of 1st Street on Saturday. The initial call for the barricaded subject began at 5:44 p.m., according to APD. The shooting later occurred just before 8:00 p.m. The situation would resolve at around 8:30 p.m. LPD said that there was no threat to the public. No officers were injured in the shooting, according to authorities.
