Woman, dog hit by vehicle at intersection of Park Avenue and S. Goodman Street

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – A woman in her 20s and her dog were hit by a driver in Rochester Saturday night, according to police.
The Rochester Police Department announced that officers were called to the area of South Goodman Street and Park Avenue for the crash. Police said that the woman was walking in the crosswalk when she and her dog were hit.
Reports of a crash in the area surfaced around 5:30 p.m. The scene cleared up within the hour.

Man hospitalized in Rochester after being shot
Officers stated that the 26-year-old Rochester woman struck had some pain but otherwise refused treatment. The dog was reportedly uninjured. No tickets were issued to the driver involved.
