Over 45 Saturday RDU flights canceled as winter storm moves across country

MORRISVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) — After the cancellation of more than 80 flights to or from Raleigh-Durham International Airport on Friday due to winter weather, dozens have been canceled for Saturday.
As of 6:45 a.m. Saturday, 46 flights arriving to or departing from RDU Saturday had already been canceled, according to tracking website FlightAware. There have also been 11 flights operating on a delayed schedule.

Like Friday, most of the affected flights are operated by American Airlines and its partner regional carriers. Flights on Delta and its regional airlines, as well as flights serviced by JetBlue, are also among those listed as canceled.
Multiple flights from Atlanta and Charlotte and several flights to New York City and Washington D.C. airports are among those canceled as of late Friday night.
RDU has measurable snow Friday for the first time in nearly three years. A reported .4" of an inch fell at the airport as of 9 p.m.
