NEW BEDFORD, Mass. (WLNE) — The Bristol County District Attorney’s office said it is investigating a homicide that took place early Saturday morning. Police responded to the Morna Lounge and Grill located on Acushnet Avenue around 1:30 a.m. for reports of a shooting. When they arrived police found three gunshot victims, two females and one male, who were transported to St. Luke’s Hospital. The two female victims were treated for their injuries, while the male, identified as 27-year-old Cristiano Macedo, was pronounced dead.
