WHITSETT, N.C. (WGHP) — A water rescue involving a child happened in Whitsett on Saturday morning after a winter storm hit the Triad, according to Guilford County Emergency Management. The water rescue was in the area of Wyckhshire Court in Whitsett. One person, believed to be an adult, was wrapped in a thermal blanket and taken away in an ambulance. According to Google Maps, there are several bodies of water in the area near Wyckshire Court. The call for the water rescue came in at 9:11 a.m. First responders reportedly left around 10:50 a.m. This is a developing story.
