Slick roads caused a domino effect on Beatties Ford Road in Huntersville on Friday night. A car that went off the roadway was on fire. Firefighters had to put out flames that kept sparking multiple times. And then a Cybertruck next to that car had a telephone pole fall on top of it.  The Huntersville Fire Department said this was the third crash on Beatties Ford Road near Sample Road. The first crash pinned a driver inside their car. Medic says they were taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
