In the past year, Murdoch ran the Honolulu Marathon within her goal time, inspiring her to start another athletic venture of her own.
"We are starting a run club in light of that achievement, the Travel Visions Aloha Run Club. [We] will be running to Maui for the Maui marathon," Murdoch said.

Now that she has accomplished a marathon within her goal time and started a run club, Murdoch has taken her aspirations to the water.
"Next up is paddling. We are going to be adaptive paddling. We are going to Brazil," she said.
To aid in her paddling feats, Murdoch uses a device developed by Makapo Aquatics. The device allows Murdoch to row as fast as she can while the canoe is steered by a support team.
For Murdoch, community partnerships such as the one she has with Makapo is a key to overcoming challenges.
"We thrive on partnerships within the community and beyond," Murdoch said.
