Driver killed in Prince George's County crash; passenger not hurt

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) -- Crews in Prince George's County are investigating a fatal crash that happened Friday night.
At about 8:10 p.m., the Prince George's County Police Department (PGPD) responded to a single-vehicle crash at Surratts Road and Frank Tippett Road. Two men were inside the car at the time of the collision.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene, while the passenger was not hurt, PGPD said.
Investigators are asking anyone with information to contact the Prince George's County Crime Solvers or submit a tip using the P3 Tips app.
The 9800 block of Surratts Road was closed into Friday night as crews worked to clear the scene.
