MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- A sledder taking advantage of the snow on the bluff along Riverside Drive was taken away by ambulance after crashing into a tree Friday.
Video from a witness shows a male slide down the hill backward and slam head-first into a tree.
The sledder sits up but then lies back on the ground before being surrounded by a group of people trying to help.

People of all ages had been sledding down the bluff all afternoon even though Riverside Drive was still open to traffic.

WREG has contacted the Memphis Fire Department, but there is no word on the victim's condition.
