(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Colorado Springs Utilities (Springs Utilities) said starting on Monday, Jan. 13, a portion of North 31st Street will be closed while crews work to install a natural gas line in the area. The project is part of an effort to replace five miles of natural gas pipeline from Mesa Road to Manitou Springs. Springs Utilities said starting on Monday, southbound N. 31st St. between West Fontanero Street and West Bijou Street will be closed. Springs Utilities said the project is expected to last until early April, weather permitting.
