WASHINGTON (DC News Now)—Neighbors across the DMV are gearing up for another round of snow Friday night.
“The last snowstorm was definitely a lot of snow,” said Ebenezer Gyimah, who was stocking up on supplies at Home Depot.
He said this time, he isn’t taking any chances.
“I’m trying to get ready for the snow today and tomorrow too,” he said. “I got the shovel because I had to use a friend’s shovel last time. So, I am definitely trying to get one for myself and also try to get the salt.”

Joon Chung, who manages a Yes, Organic Market, was also preparing Friday afternoon.
“Just got some ice melt for the store, for the store I manage, we just ran out,” said Chung. “Other people get overly cautious sometimes but since we already got the worst of it, I think we’ll be fine this time.”

Others stopped at the grocery store to stock up on food and water.
“I’m about to be inside all day for tomorrow,” said Brijon McKinley, who was shopping at Giant Friday morning. “I have other groceries left over from the last time so just re-upping.”
McKinley said it wasn’t as busy out as she expected.
She’s hoping people stay off the roads over the next 24 hours.
“Stay inside if you don’t have four-wheel drive because I saw people get stuck today,” she said.
