MERCED, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - The SPCA Merced is currently on standby to receive cats and kittens displaced or injured from the fire in Pasadena, and they are asking the community for help.
SPCA Merced posted on social media Friday asking the community with an "urgent plea."
They say that as the organization is on standby to receive cats and kittens displaced or injured by the fire they need emergency fosters and supplies so they can care for these animals.
SPCA Merced will need the following supplies:
Wet cat food
Towels
Cat/small dog beds
Bandages
Saline or sterile solutions (for injuries)
If anyone is able to foster a cat or a couple of kittens, please email [email protected].
Supplies can be dropped off at 300 Grogan Ave in Merced.
SPCA Merced says although at this time they don't have a transport date, they are preparing to receive as many as 60 cats and kittens.
