Metallica announce new tour with Bay Area dates

(KRON) – Heavy metal legacy band, Metallica, has announced their new "M72 World Tour" with two South Bay dates.
Bandmates, Kirk Hammett, James Hetfield, Robert Trujillo, and Lars Ulrich, will kick off this tour in Syracuse, New York on April 19 at JMA Wireless Dome.
Metallica is scheduled to take the Levi’s Stadium stage in Santa Clara on June 20 and June 22.

Kendrick Lamar, SZA announced duo tour with SF date
The nine-time Grammy award-winning band hit the scene with their album "Kill 'Em All" in 1983. The Los Angeles-based band’s fifth album, which was self-titled, was their first to enter the Billboard Charts at the top spot.
Metallica received their first Grammy in 1998 for “And Justice For All,” which won for Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance Vocal Or Instrumental.
Supporting tour guests include Pantera, Limp Bizkit, Suicidal Tendencies and Ice Nine Kills.
Tickets will be available at 10 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 17 on Metcallica’s website.
