One deputy stabbed multiple times by inmate, another injured at downtown Syracuse jail

Syracuse N.Y. — An inmate at the Onondaga County Justice Center stabbed a sheriff’s deputy multiple times and injured another deputy Friday morning, according to sheriff’s office.At around 10:12 a.m., police responded to the jail at 555 S. State St. for a report that a 30-year-old deputy was stabbed six times in the booking section, according to dispatches from the Onondaga County 911 Center.
