Central NY judge reprimanded for giving over $6,000 in political contributions

Richland, N.Y. – A town court judge in Oswego County has been reprimanded by a state judicial oversight committee for making political contributions.From 2006 to 2023, Richland Town Court Judge James Ridgeway donated over $6,000 to causes that support the Democratic Party. Some of the donations were made through his union, the United Steelworkers, and others were made by his wife using his bank account.
