FALL RIVER, Mass. (WLNE) — The Fall River Fire Department said that three families, consisting of nine adults and 10 children, were displaced after a fire at a three story home.
The fire occurred around 3:45 a.m. Friday, where it originated on the third floor and then spread to the first and second.
The department said the fire was under control by 4:30 a.m., and required two command vehicles, six engines, two ladder trucks, and a heavy rescue to put out.
One person was hospitalized with burns, and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
