WESTERLY, R.I. (WLNE) — The Westerly Fire Department said the state fire marshal was investigating a fire at a restaurant on Watch Hill Road on Jan. 9.
Firefighters responded to the Cooked Goose around 10 p.m. for fire alarms sounding and a working fire.
The department said that “extensive overhaul” was required and the fire was put out in about an hour.
In a Facebook post, the restaurant said that it would be temporarily closed for repairs, and that there were no injuries as the building was unoccupied at the time.
