CINCINNATI, Oh. (ABC36 NEWS NOW)- Ja’Marr Chase and Trey Hendrickson have both been awarded two All-Pro honors after their stellar seasons for the Cincinnati Bengals. On Friday, the pair were named to the Associated Press All-Pro First Team after receiving the same honor from the NFL Players Association earlier this week. They are also the first Cincinnati players to win First Team All-Pro honors since 2015 when defensive tackle Geno Atkins and left tackle Andrew Whitworth won. Chase’s Triple Crown The LSU product was a unanimous vote to the First Team after winning the receiving Triple Crown this past season. Chase led all receivers in the league with 127 receptions for 1,708 yards and 17 touchdowns. He is the sixth receiver to accomplish that feat and joins the likes of Jerry Rice, Sterling Sharpe, Steve Smith Sr. and Cooper Kupp as winners. You’re Sacked! As the league leader in sacks with 17.5, a career-high tying tally from 2023, Hendrickson is now the Bengals’ first sack champion. A career-high four sack performance versus the Los Vegas Raiders propelled Hendrickson to the top of the race and he never looked back. This year is the veteran’s second in a row with 17.5 sacks.
