Accumulating snowfall continues through the evening with travel becoming slick and slippery. A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until 1 am.

Snow accumulates from now through nighttime with 1" to 3" south of Fort Wayne and 2" to 4" around Fort Wayne and northward.
2"-4" of snow fall across the entire area from Friday afternoon through Saturday morning
Snow starts to taper off as we approach midnight.
It will be mostly cloudy Saturday with temperatures in the upper 20s. There may be a few lingering lake effect snowflakes, primarily in the morning. However, any new accumulation will be very light.
The warmest day this weekend is Sunday with a high in the lower 30s ahead of a potent push of arctic air bringing some light snow ahead of it Sunday night. Little, if any, snow accumulation is expected Sunday night or early Monday.
Monday's highs are in the 20s. This high temperatures will occur earlier in the day than is typical and temps will fall through the afternoon. We'll end up with low temperatures down to the single digits by Tuesday morning and wind chills will drop below zero.
In fact, wind chills will be below zero all day Tuesday with highs only in the low-to-mid-teens.
It won't be much warmer Wednesday with high temperatures in the upper teens. Wind chills will be below zero in the morning.
Thursday morning is a cold one, too, with morning wind chill values below zero. However, on Thursday afternoon, highs rise to the upper 20s with a continuation of more seasonal high temperatures next Friday through the following weekend.
