EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — El Paso's iFLY Indoor Skydiving will be getting a "venue refresh" and is reopening later this year, the Austin-based company announced on Friday, Jan. 10.
According to the news release by iFLY, the indoor skydiving company has acquired El Paso's wind tunnel, which was previously a franchise location. It originally opened in 2019. It will become part of the company's global network of more than 100 locations.
iFLY has projected the reopening to happen during the first quarter of 2025, the company said.
"We're excited to re-launch the El Paso facility and build upon its strong foundation in the local community. This acquisition aligns with our mission to deliver world-class indoor skydiving experiences to people worldwide. We look forward to continuing to serve both first-time flyers and experienced skilled flyers in the El Paso region," iFLY CEO Matthew Ryan said.
