The longest measurable snow drought on record in Charlotte has officially ended

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte Douglas International Airport has officially measured 0.1″ of snow. The record measurable snow drought of 1,077 days is officially over! Our last measurable snow in Charlotte was on January 29, 2022. This has been our longest streak with no measurable snow by far. The second longest streak ended on March 12, 1993 after 778 days with no snow.
